Pitt Lake

Serenity is the word that describes this tour to the wilderness of Pitt Lake. After passing through the bustling activity on the Fraser River, passengers will emerge into the quiet tranquillity and panoramic beauty of a majestic fjord. This beautiful, fresh water tidal lake is one of the largest of its kind. Grassy, reverse deltas appear daily in the center of the lake as the tide recedes. We'll travel along the cliff side and observe the ancient Indian pictographs. This area is still a wilderness and home to bears, deer and cougars. Please note: This cruise is on board the very comfortable catamaran "Beta Star" which holds up to 40 passengers.
